Many would say that this was the year the Trade War between China and the United States happened. However, one could see that it did not just happened overnight. The escalation had happened years before this one.
Being of Chinese origin but educated in the medium of instruction of the English Language, in his mind, he had the struggle played out at HIS level of imagination. He was proud of himself for being able to hold two opposing stands in his mind and putting them together in a fascinating, but often frustrating, tension.
The first trip to China that 杨丕源 Yang Piyuan made in 2025CE was to 揭阳 Jieyang, 潮州 Chaozhou and 汕头 Shantou. This was his third visit to the Province of 广东 Guangdong. The first was in 2014CE when he visited 深圳 Shenzhen and 广州 Guangzhou (the capital of 广东 Guangdong). The second was in 2018CE when he visited 珠海 Zhuhai.
The World Heritage Site he visited during this trip was the 广东广济桥 Guangji Bridge.
In 揭阳 Jieyang, he climbed the 黄岐山 Huangqi Mountain.
His second trip this year was to 东北 the northeastern part of China. The three provinces he visited were 黑龙江 Heilongjiang, 吉林 Jilin and 辽宁 Liaoning. The three major ciites he visited were 哈尔滨 Harbin, 长春 Changchun and 沈阳 Shenyang.
He got to visit two World Heritage Sites during this trip, namely the 长白山天池 Heaven Lake of Changbaishan and the 沈阳故宫 the Mukden Palace or the Shenyang Imperial Palace.
