故事 The Story
This was the year 杨丕源 Yang Piyuan fell in love with his schoolmate 杨小伶 Yang Xiaoling.
The first movie they went on a date together was Airplane!
They carried out dissection on animals together in preparation for their biology examination. Among the animals they studied were the rabbit, the guinea pig, rats and frogs. As rabbits and guinea pigs were expensive and difficult to get, they only dissected one each. 杨丕源 Yang Piyuan would always have the feeling of 杨小伶 Yang Xiaoling getting close to him while they peered into the anatomy of the animals. That was the closest their faces ever got together. So never was a kiss planted on both their lips together in spite of the affection they had.

1963CE was the year that China had developed into a nation strong enough to contribute scientifically to Africa (非洲). It was then in the position to provide medical assistance to some countries in that continent.

兔 is a 象形字 pictogram. There is a great similarity between the 甲骨文 oracle bone character and the character 兔.

It is estimated that there are about 50,000 Chinese characters. However, some say the acquisition of about 1,000 characters should be enough for communication purposes. It is also estimated that only about 5% of chinese characters are pictograms. Most are 形声字 phonosemantic compounds where part of the character indicates meaning and another part suggests pronunciation.
