"Father's Footprints: 2019, Chongqing's Book Mountain"
Yang Wenqi: The library we just went to was interesting. It made me think of the Zhongshuge bookstore in Chongqing that Laoba visited twice — in the summer and winter of 2019. He was very impressed by it, even though the Zhongshuge chain was already years old by then.
Yang Wenyi: I remember! He wouldn't stop talking about the "book mountain" staircase. So when did Zhongshuge first open?
Yang Wenqi: The brand was founded on World Book Day — April 23rd, 2013 — and the very first Zhongshuge opened in Songjiang, Shanghai, that same day.
Yang Wenyi: And now they've spread everywhere, right? Which cities have branches?
Yang Wenqi: Yes — Shanghai, Beijing, Hangzhou, Yangzhou, Suzhou, Wuxi, Chengdu, Xi'an, Guiyang, Wuhan, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Yinchuan, Tianjin, Zibo, Kunming, and more — over 40 stores in nearly 30 cities across China.
Yang Wenyi: Any fun facts?
Yang Wenqi: A few! One — the founder, Jin Hao, named it after his daughter Jin Zhongshu, also a nod to author Qian Zhongshu. Two — the first store skipped a fancy launch and donated its 100,000-yuan ceremony budget to buy books for rural schools in Guizhou. Three — Zhongshuge follows "chain but never copy" — every branch reflects local culture; Chongqing's even mimics the city's crazy 8D layered terrain with a light-and-mirror "book mountain." And four — several locations have glass floors with books underneath you as you walk in!
Yang Wenyi: No wonder Laoba went back a second time. Next time we go to Chongqing together, it's on the list.

杨文琪： 刚才去的那家图书馆挺有意思的，让我想起老爸——杨丕源——去过两次的重庆钟书阁，2019年夏天和冬天各去了一次。他对那儿印象很深，哪怕那时候钟书阁连锁书店已经开了 好些年了。
杨文漪： 记得啊，他一直念叨那个"书山台阶"超震撼。对了，钟书阁是哪年创立的？第一家开在哪？
杨文琪： 品牌是2013年4月23日——世界读书日——正式创立的，首家钟书阁就在上海松江泰晤士小镇开业。
杨文漪： 那现在全国哪些城市有分店啊？
杨文琪： 上海、北京、杭州、扬州、苏州、无锡、成都、西安、贵阳、武汉、深圳、广州、银川、天津、淄博、昆明等，差不多近30座城市开了四十多家。
杨文琪： 有啊！一、创始人金浩用女儿名字"金钟书"命名，也致敬钱钟书先生。二、首家店没办开业典礼，把原定十万块庆典费全买了书捐给贵州遵义乡村书屋。三、坚持"连锁不复制"， 每家融入当地文化——重庆店用镜面光影造出模仿山城8D地形的"书山台阶"。四、不少门店进门玻璃地板下铺满书，像被书包围着走进去！
杨文漪：难怪老爸去了两趟……下次咱们一起去重庆，必须打卡！
