Calligraphy
The prefix "calli" originates from the Greek
word "kalos" (which also has the derivation "kaleido"),
meaning
beautiful. The suffix "graphy" has the meaning of diagram or
picture. Calligraphy is the skill or art of beautiful
handwriting. Calligraphers would usually use brush and ink to
draw/write beautiful pictorial characters or words with aesthetic
value. Chinese calligraphy is well known and sought after.
