故事 The Story
杨源 Yang Yuan was a captain of one of the ships in Admiral 郑和 Zheng He's magnificent and majestic fleet. The captain had voyaged from China to the lands in the 南海 South China Sea, 马六甲海峡 the Straits of Malacca, 缅甸海 the Andaman Sea and 印度洋 the Indian Ocean.
杨源 Yang Yuan had recently completed paying his respects and prayers to his Admiral in a sombre but grand funeral. Admiral 郑和 ZhengHe had died a year ago off the coast of India and his body had been brought back to the port city of 南京 Nanjing to be buried. It was now time for 杨源 Yang Yuan to journey home to 西安 Xi'an.
This is the adventure(-game) of 杨源 Yang Yuan as he travels across China to get home. You play the role of 杨源 Yang Yuan and navigate through this interactive fiction (story). In the high seas, you have used the compass and the stars to help you and your crew sail safely to the faraway lands. Now, words and knowledge will guide you in your travels. You shall begin as a Word Novice.
As you collect more words (tokens), you upgrade yourself (your levels) and when you reach your hometown of 西安 Xi'an, you will be a Word Master.
In 西安 Xi'an, 杨源 Yang Yuan will marry and 20 generations later, you will encounter 杨丕源 Yang Piyuan.
